Deep fried flat bread
Ingredients
- 3 cups Chapathi wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 4 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
Instructions
- Mix salt in flour. Add a tablespoon oil and start mixing to make dough by adding water until the dough is not sticky.
- Knead the dough for 10 mins and set aside for 15 mins covered with damp cloth.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat. While the oil heats, roll the dough into golf ball sized and press flat with additional dusting of flour.
- Deep fry with occasional flipping until golden brown. Drain the excess oil and stack in an airtight container. Serve warm with any curry of choice.
