Paneer Tikka
Equipment
- 1 Charcoal grill Wood chips to smoke
Ingredients
- 2 cups Paneer Diced to 1 inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
- ½ stick Butter Melt it to liquid
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Mix ½ stick Butter, 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon Garlic paste, 1 teaspoon Ginger paste, 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon Paprika, 1 teaspoon Garam Masala powder, and 1 teaspoon Salt to make marinade.
- Add 2 cups Paneer to the marinade and marinate for an hour.
- Skewer the Paneer cubes. If desired you can alternate with Onions, Tomatoes and Bell peppers.
- Grill the skewers on smoked charcoal grill at medium heat of about 300 °F for 30 mins with occasionally basting the leftover marinade and turning the skewers.
- Take the skewers out and cover in foil to let the flavors infuse. Serve as a side dish with a slice of lime.
