Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Paneer cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 large Yellow Onion Diced
  • 2 large Tomatoes Diced
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • ½ stick Butter Another ½ to fry Paneer
  • 1 cup Green peas
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic minced

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 tablespoon Oil and ½ stick Butter in a skillet and add 1 large Yellow Onion. Fry onions until they start to caramelize. Add 1 tablespoon Ginger paste, 1 tablespoon Garlic minced and fry for another two minutes in medium heat.
  • To this add 2 large Tomatoes, 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder, ½ teaspoon Turmeric, 1 teaspoon Coriander powder, 1 teaspoon Garam Masala powder, 1 teaspoon Salt and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat with lid.
  • Reduce the heat to low and using hand blender, make all the ingredients to paste. Continue to cook in low heat with lid closed.
  • In a frying pan with medium heat, add ½ stick Butter and fry 1 pound Paneer with occasional turning the cubes until they start turning golden brown.
  • Add fried paneer cubes and 1 cup Green peas to the masala. Cook for 5 minutes with occasional stirring.
  • Let it cool and served with Basmati rice or any kind of flat bread
