Heat 1 tablespoon Oil and ½ stick Butter in a skillet and add 1 large Yellow Onion. Fry onions until they start to caramelize. Add 1 tablespoon Ginger paste, 1 tablespoon Garlic minced and fry for another two minutes in medium heat.
To this add 2 large Tomatoes, 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder, ½ teaspoon Turmeric, 1 teaspoon Coriander powder, 1 teaspoon Garam Masala powder, 1 teaspoon Salt and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat with lid.
Reduce the heat to low and using hand blender, make all the ingredients to paste. Continue to cook in low heat with lid closed.
In a frying pan with medium heat, add ½ stick Butter and fry 1 pound Paneer with occasional turning the cubes until they start turning golden brown.
Add fried paneer cubes and 1 cup Green peas to the masala. Cook for 5 minutes with occasional stirring.
Let it cool and served with Basmati rice or any kind of flat bread
