Sevya Kheer
Rice slow cooked in sweetened milk
Ingredients
- 1 cup Thick sevya Roast in ghee
- 4 cups Whole milk
- 1 cup Granulated cane sugar
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- ½ cup Cashews
- 4 pods Cardamom
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups Whole milk to boil on medium heat with continuous stirring and add ghee roasted sevya.
- Cook for 10 mins with occasional stirring and add 1 cup Granulated cane sugar.
- Bring it to low heat and cook for 5 mins with occasional stirring and lid closed.
- Toast ½ cup Cashews and 4 pods Cardamom in 1 tablespoon Ghee and add to pudding.
- Mix gently and close the lid. Serve at room temperature.
