Sevya Kheer

Rice slow cooked in sweetened milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Thick sevya Roast in ghee
  • 4 cups Whole milk
  • 1 cup Granulated cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • ½ cup Cashews
  • 4 pods Cardamom

Instructions
 

  • Bring 4 cups Whole milk to boil on medium heat with continuous stirring and add ghee roasted sevya.
  • Cook for 10 mins with occasional stirring and add 1 cup Granulated cane sugar.
  • Bring it to low heat and cook for 5 mins with occasional stirring and lid closed.
  • Toast ½ cup Cashews and 4 pods Cardamom in 1 tablespoon Ghee and add to pudding.
  • Mix gently and close the lid. Serve at room temperature.
